Founded in 1982, it is the first program of its kind at a historically black university to receive national accreditation. With a focus on academic excellence and experiential learning, the SJGC is preparing students to be confident communicators and leaders who can meet the demands of a competitive and evolving media marketplace. At SJGC, students develop the ability to present, persuade and produce as they learn how to represent themselves and others via multimedia content.
